History of this Vehicle:

The desperately needed ‘New Job’ Model A was hinted at to Ford dealers on May 26, 1927, and was introduced to the public in December 1927. Australian production began in mid 1928. Between 1928 and 1932 just under 32,400 Model A Fords were made.

The Model A, like the Model T, was four cylinder, however the Model A was more powerful and was capable of 55 (88km/h) to 65 mph (104km/h).

The Model A was the first first to carry the blue oval logo. It’s two-year old styling was refreshed for 1930, with new sweeping fenders, new radiator, smaller wheels, and a longer hood. Henry Ford believed it was so new and different he opted to ‘wipe the slate clean’ and start all over again with the naming of his models.
