The National Series AB was the first Chevrolet to have brakes on all wheels and the last to be fitted with a four cylinder engine. Twenty-one inch disc wheels were a popular option. The four cylinder engine’s capacity is 171 cubic inches. The wheel base of the National is 107 inches.

Holden, South Australia constructed the body of the Australian version, which cost £247, equivalent to $435 AUD.
