Tony Rinaldi

Tony Rinaldi was born in Maryborough, Victoria in October 1958 and was raised on the family farm at nearby Moolort. He left school at fifteen years of age to work on the family farm and it was there the love of having a steering wheel in his hand started. Tony drove farm machinery and the tray truck carting grain into the local grain terminal. Eighteen years of age couldn't come quickly enough enabling him to gain the necessary truck licences.

At 19 years of age Tony purchased a single axle dodge prime mover with a 2-deck stock crate in tow. Word spread around the locals that he was transporting livestock to markets and business just grew from there. 1981 saw the purchase of a Mecedes-Benz 1418 and a two and half deck stock crate.

In 1984, Tony with wife Maree, founded A.G & M Rinaldi Livestock Transport. Over the years they ran Mercedes Benz, Freightliner, Western Star and Kenworth trucks. These were coupled to Byrne 4 deckers and B/double convertibles to service a local abattoir and clientele.

Although Tony has scaled back these days, he still drives locally with son Cameron on tipper work. Tony has been involved in transport now for over 45 years and wouldn't change a thing.
