The National Road Transport Hall of Fame in Alice Springs proudly boasts one of the world's most unique truck collections.

Kurt Johannsen with Bertha just after she was restored in 2005Road pioneer Kurt Johannsen's Diamond-T named "Bertha" has been restored to its original glory by Society members, while Colac-based Merv Brunt donated a number of trucks from his personally-restored private collection. There are also several classic B-model Macks and an ever-expanding variety of vintage trucks, cars, bicycles and motorcycles.

The B-model Mack revoluntionised the road transport industry in Australia. Many old drovers attribute the sheer strength and durability of the Mack for bringing an end to Australia's large cattle droves.
